I have the kind of best friends who are always there for exactly what you need. Last night, that included a variety of things: a crazy, carefree, workout dance party; talking about how stupid boys are, then figuring out which stupid boys we will go to prom with; getting lost, getting mad, but really not actually caring at all; more ice cream than our stomachs could take, resulting in much pain; so many stupid things said and done, to the point that it was impossible to stop laughing; and a thoughtful, beautiful, personal birthday present that I will keep forever. I couldn't ask for better best friends, and I couldn't have asked for a better night.
Well, that's not entirely true. If I would have gotten a winning lottery ticket that would have been very exciting! But still.
