I know it's weird, and I am definitely no Lady G fan, but as I was listening to the radio in the car today, she kind of inspired me and made me feel a million times better about myself. Well, not her, at all, I don't understand her, but the lyrics to her song "Born This Way." The chorus includes these two lines:
I'm beautiful in my way cause God makes no mistakes.
Don't hide yourself in regret, just love yourself and you're set.
I really need to apply these things because I am definitely guilty of hiding myself in regret and don't feel particularly beautiful a lot. I am not exactly a fan of the fact that this came from pop culture, although it is encouraging that pop culture is positive, but it is just so true. I can't help it!
