For my Christmas Bible reading plan, today's devotional said to make a list (in the form of new lyrics to the 12 days of Christmas) of all the things I am giving to God, who is my true love. So here it goes:
On the twelth day of Christmas my true love gave to me...
Twelve songs of worship
Eleven kind words spoken
Ten minutes reading
Nine heartfilled givings
Eight hours of studying
Seven people shown love
Six days of working
Five shining As
Four family mends
Three meal prayers
Two serving hands
And a fallen, broken, little life.
